Vince Zampella, Has Died in a Los Angeles Vehicle Accident
The visionary game developer, renowned for co-creating the wildly popular franchise Call of Duty, has tragically died in a car accident in Los Angeles, California he was 55 years old.
Zampella's death was announced by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the development studio that he helped create.
The celebrated video game developer passed away following his car crashed and caught fire on a highway in Los Angeles on this past Sunday, US media outlets report.
"This is a devastating loss, and our hearts are with his family and friends, his loved ones, and all those touched by his creative vision," an official with Electronic Arts commented.
