7. Common Side Effects
An unexpected 2025 highlight, this show is essentially a Breaking Bad with a humor of a suburban satire. Helmed by Joe Bennett alongside writer Steve Hely, it tells the saga of a mild-mannered mycologist who discovers a curative mushroom and soon finds himself hunted by everyone from unscrupulous pharmaceutical executives to government agents.
